I'd be willing to sell you mine for $500 shipped (should work for all 97-01). I'm getting rid of mine because I just put a deposit down on a new MINI Cooper S. They have a total of less than 3k miles on them. Since you live in Minnesota, I would DEFINATELY suggest coilovers because you will have the ability to raise the car in the winter to clear that white stuff that likes to fall around that time of year. Oh, and you mentioned an interest in SC430 wheels, I have a set that I'd also be willing to part with (in almost BRAND NEW condition). $900 gets both the k-sports and wheels shipped to your door. Let me know.

Question

does anyone with a 1.5 inch drop have a problem with the car hitting a speed bump or rough roads damaging the bottom of the car? I am scared to drop my car because of this.

depends on your speedbumps. in colorado there are some brutal ones!
1.5 shouldnt cause to much of a problem though.

If you are by yourself, no problem. But once you get something in the trunk or people in the back. Get ready to scrape. I'm glad I haven't broken anything yet.
