Default having trouble w/ eyelid sticking

is anyone having trouble with keeping the eyelid stuck?

the double sided tape they sent is kinda cheap cause theyre kinda flimsy. \

I got some 3M double sided tape from wal-,mart....very very sturdy

but on the corner of the driver side it keeps poping up I've retaped it 3 times and it keeps poping off the corner

what to do?

haha, I was actually thinking of that, but what if i have to change out my corner bulb

I think what is happening is that, that one eyebrow was shaped flaring out a little. you know, like bent over a little, therefor while it lays on the double sided tape it's actual form in direction is oppisite, causing it to unstick do I make sense or am I going crazy

The proper way is to remove the whole thing and replace the tape after cleaning the headlight with alcohol .
Or just cut the tape where it is no longer sticky, then replace it with some new double sided 3m tape.
You can get the tape from any body shop.
Or use some clear silicone and use something to hold it in place for about 2 hours in teh sun.
It will stick after that for sure.

Never had any problems sticking mine on. I used 3M (gray with red backing) on everything including my wing, sideskirts, and eye lines. Like SK said, make sure the surface is clean.

Another thing that might be happening is like what you said, the eye line might be deformed or something. idk.

well, the tape sticks to the headlight, its the eyelid that comes apart from the tape
