Default '94 ES300 Ehxaust diagram

Hello --

I'm trying to help out a friend who has a '94 Es300. He took it to meineke to replace what he thought was a bad muffler. Meineke guy said it was his "Y-pipe" and tried to charge him over $500 to replace it.

I offered to take a look at it to see if I could fix it for him, but have been unable to find any useful info on the net. If anyone has any of the following information, please pass it on. TIA!

1. Exhaust diagram for a '94 Es300
2. DIY info for replacing the y pipe (or any info on what needs to be done to access it)
3. Link to where we can buy the pipe and associated gaskets online.

Thank you!

Cool

The exhaust gaskets are just universal. You can get them anywhere for fairly cheap. You need three. 2* 2", 1 * 1.25".
2 * 14 mm nuts per mount. Both exhaust manifolds + cat + rubber isolation hanger.

1mz-fe y-pipe looks like that, but they're a bit taller because the exhaust manifolds are up higher.

Not worried about extra performance..
Bosal makes a "header pipe" (#H2000-114627) for $161.
Is that it?

Cool

That's for the '94-96. It won't fit.
To my knowledge & the knowledge of the Bosal catolog, they never made a rep;acement y-pipe for the '97+ 1mz-fe.

The car I am working on is a 1994 Lexus ES300... so this is correct, right?
Sorry for the confusion.
