bank 1, sensor 1 is the rear manifold
bank 2, sensor 1 is the front manifold
bank 1, sensor 2 is the post- cat convertor

Correct, and for anyone else....Bank 1 is ALLWAYS where # 1 cylinder is.

ok on my ES its pulling code p1035 says bank 1 sensor one. so that is around the cat convetor area right?

I bought an o2 sensor its the same part # as the one i replaced before, the one on the front manifold. I think they gave me the wrong one. They arent the same are they?

i have found out that it can usually be the mass air flow sensor that causes that code.

really? man i dont want to spent 130$ on a o2 sensor then still show the same code.
