Question Road Noise?

I've notice some road noice coming from my car lately...actually, I think I've just been ignoring it for a while. What might be causing the noise? It's not bad in the city, but freeway is pretty loud. Maybe I'm just being really picky, maybe not. Let me know.

May be a little bit obvious, but it's probably that your tires are wearing either unevenly or down to almost 2/32" left, which signals replacement of the tires. Also, did you upgrade your wheels? If so, that's certainly another factor to the road noise occurring.

Nah see that's the frustrating part, my tires are only about four months old. Additionally I have not done anything with my wheels, unfortunately. Hence my frustration...

In that case, I would probably leave this issue alone, especially since you mentioned about hearing the noise on freeway only. The ES is known to have one of the quietest cabins built in a car, and I believe all of us ES owners have been rather spoiled about this. Even I notice once in a while the most subtle rattles and creaks inside the cabin of my '01 ES, and then I forget about them after finding they're the source from adjustment of seat belt, stuff in glove compartment, etc.

Thanks for the comfort...I feel a little better.

some tires... like the toyos i just took off my 240 have a "whirring" sound. Even when new.

But it could also be something like already stated.
