Piaa ion crystals is where it's at! However the mod is very creative. I wanted to get the yellowest look I could get to like the GS400 but someone told me the lens is yellow which makes the color look so vibrant.

I have PIAA ion Yello Fogs..........and they are great........


but again, I liked the mod for the simple reason that it looks kinda hot in the day time....to have it tinted yellow

I wonder if it would give me more brightness at night....or make them less bright

The Yellow Lens gives the car a different look, Yellow Ions are nice but I wanted something unique.
I'd say there is a slight loss of ouput vs. a clear lense with the ion bulb but you can't have everything.
I should have some night pics over the weekend.

Gato when you did your ions, did you notice any better dispersion of light all around, or was it still pretty focused at where they aim at? Can you light up a street sign with only the fogs lets say about 40-50 feet? not bright but still lite up.

Max, I like how your fogs look against the garage door. Although it is not like the stock yellow fogs from the IS or GS, it is still nice and quite different than before. Keep up the great work, and hopefully we'll catch up at a future FL meet

BTW I couldn't tell from the pics, but are you using an aftermarket HID kit on your low beams? If so, what are the specs?

Thanks for words, all stock halogens bulbs. Cleaned up the lenses a few weeks back with that PlastX which worked GREAT!! Will go HID soon..
