Hi,

first sorry for my english, I´m from germany so it´s not the best.

I´ve gote a problem with my 1996 Lexus ES 300. I´ve bought it from a friend of mine. He is an american soldier here in heidelberg. so the car was imported for him some years ago nad know I bought ist. the problem is the Lexus ES 300 was never build for the european market and also not in germany. I have no documents of this car but I need some documents to get an allowence and licence plates. In germany everything about car is very strictly.

So my question is could anybody please send me a copy of his documents of this lexus type by e-mail so I could show the documents to the agency? My e-mail adress is steffenkloever@web.de

I realy need to now the top speed of this car and also the exhoust facts.

would not be accepted. Must be something offical. Real Documents from Lexus.

In Germany we have for every car a special document which is a certificate of title for a motor vehicle so I would need such a certificate. Could please somebody help me ?

Don´t you have in america such a type of certificate. I guess only the germans are so stricitly in this way.

Any type of documents you have would help me here...

in the US we issue a title for every vehicle. i tried to find a pic of one. i would check with the german motor vehicle department to see if an american title would be sufficient enough for your ownership.
i would also ask your friend if he has the title

I dont think we understand what you mean by documentation. By that do you mean car owner/repair history, or just general information about the car?
Register the car at whatever Lexus websites you can. Normally they will send you 1 free Car Owner's Manual every month for being an owner. They should have some type of link to that in the Owners portion of the website.
If it's car history I would call a Lexus dealer & get the repair history of the vehicle printed out. If European Lexus dealers can not do that, then we could get a US one to do that.

I think that he means the title for the car. Playa, we do have titles for our cars here in America, you need to talk to your friend that sold you the car. Hopefully, he should have it. If not, maybe you should check the black market for a blank auto tiltle, just kidding
