My fog lights are DEAD. I don't know what I can do (besides getting some new ones because THOSE WERE new ones.) I already checked the wiring. Nothing seems wrong. I checked the Fuse and it's still good. I checked the bulbs itself and they're still good. Is there anything I haven't checked yet?

 

Relay is in the panel to the left of the driver's foot. It's over by itself. Not much around it. You're sure all the fuses & both bulbs are good right?

The year of my ES is 1993. Yes I checked the fuse over and over. The fuse is not broken. And yes the bulbs (both of them) are not broken.

 

Are they the original fogs or are they aftermarket?
Are you turning them on using the stock headlight stalk or another switch/button?
Do you have the headlights on when you turn the fogs on?

 

They're aftermarket 55watts. I'm running them on with the stock switch. They can only be turned on while the low beams are on. My ES uses the round shaped fogs, not the square ones.

 

You say they turn on with the low beams? Turn off with the high beams? Won't turn on by them selves? That is normal operation ... They are only turned on with the low beam headlamps.

 

Yea, I have a '97 but mine works the same way. Turn off with the highs, and stay on with the lows - sounds like it's working to me!

 

OK... the point is NOT when the fog lights could be operated. The point is my fog lights are COMPLETELY DEAD.
