If it returns after a few miles, theres a good chance it's the EGR valve actuator.
so after the 02 sensor was replaced, about a week later, now another CEL. this time it's the 0401 EGR code. do I need to get a new egr valve or egr valve actuator or are they the same part?

I'm having a similar prob. w/ my 2000 ES300. I had just refueled and a couple miles down the road the ck eng & trac off lights came on. After checking the web I took the advice to re-tighten my gas cap. No go. Went to the guy that sold me the car and he ck'ed the codes:
P0125
P1130
P1135
I have seen a ton of web info on these and most changes do not correct the lights.
My car runs fine, the lights are just a little un-nerving.
Any advice welcome.
BTW The P0125 msg is "closed loop of fuel control. Insufficient coolant temp."
