Here are some calculation. Though 2006 has HP ( horse power ) of 218 but it also has greator curb wt than other year vehicle . so I think ratio of the two gives very interesting result .
Year -Wt curb - HP -HP/WT
2005 -3472 -218 -0.06
2004 -3344 -210 -0.06
2003 -3432 -210 -0.06
2002 -3432 -210 -0.06
2001 -3344 -210 -0.06
2000 -3344 -210 -0.06
1999 -3344 -210 - 0.06
1998 -3289 -200 -0.06
1997 -3289 -200 - 0.06
1996 -3366 -188 -0.056
1995 -3366 -188 - 0.056

That's the reason they all run a 16.0-16.4 second 1/4 mile.
Most of them, by the time you add the fact almost everyone has audio equipment, rolls with baggages & most epeople can't drive one down a track - run a 16.5-17s 1/4 mile time.
A good driver with a little weight reduction & general mods can crack 15s in any of the A/T's, or crack into 14s with a 92-93 M/T.
1992-1993: 3362 - 0.055
1989-1991: 3164 - 0.049
The calculation isn't exactly interesting unless you're doing something with it.

Geoffrey Fox's Formula works spot-on with the Camry platform until you build a few hundred extra horsepower. Keyword in that sentance is few. Forget the other formulas - they're way too fast for heavy DD-USD-FWD cars.
I think the ES250's published curb weight is way too high. The gen2 Camry v6's only weigh like 2800-2900lbs & I simply doubt they added 200-300lbs of material to it. It's too much the same as a Camry. Anywho 250's are quicker than they look on paper down a 1/4 mile. They're a high 16s car in good condition & someone with willpower could make a 13-14 second car out of one easily.

Not down a 1/4 mile or highway. It would be faster once it got up to around 130.
