Cool

It's the same basic engine. It will drop in for the most part.
You will need new engine management.
hp isn't worth it. 189 -194 - 210.

You can spend $300-400 on what you have now & make that.

you can spend about 400 bucks on aftermarket engine mods and boost up your horsepower of the 92-96 engine to equal and exceed the horsepower of the 97-01 engine

Exactly.
You're looking at about $4000 to drop a new 1mz-fe it.
Around $2000+ for a used one with any sort of history.
I'm sure either sean or I will turbo your current engine for that & come out with atleast a hundred hp more than any currently possible toyota engine swap could do.
For the cost of a new engine, you could drop on the ****ty TRD Supercharger. For a bit more you cuold upgrade it so it doesn't destroy your engine & get descent power from it 2.

What I'm getting at, is that no engine swap is going to be worth the power gained.

Well, like you said in other threads Pheonix, they're not really the same (different block types), but in a way they are kinda the same. And I think the horsepower is more like 92-93 163-185, 94-96 188, and 97+ 210.

Cool

He's talking 1mz-fe's.
94-96 = 189bhp
97+ Camry = 194bhp
97+ ES = 200bhp
98+ ES / '03+ Camry 1MZ-FE VVT-i A.K.A 1MZ-FE VVT-i BEAMS = 210
