Hi,
What you are wanting is a Dedicated digital CD-changer, your Lexus already has the option built into the head unit on your stereo, all you have to do is get the Lexus wiring harness adapter and a compatible dedicated CD-changer which is Alpine. You are going to pay a little more for the dedicated CD changer and adapter, please have a stereo place do the job for you. It doesnt cost that much and it will be done right and professionally.
Hope that helps

Hi,
You will need to go to a Car Audio shop closest to you, Grab your local phone book and start calling your Car audio shops and tell them what year Lexus and what model and tell them that you want a dedicated CD changer and if they know what they are doing they should tell you which model they have in stock is compatible with your head unit, You can call lexus parts dept. if you so choose to, it would not hurt. All that is required to install your CD changer is the right unit and the wiring adapters which all car audio shops will have. The most expensive part of this venture is the CD changer itself, depending on which model of Alpine you go with. But, when you are finished you will have the best audio quality from a CD changer, because you are going from straight digital from the changer to your head unit, there will be no loss of sound quality. If you go for the FM modulated, you will lose approximatley 20% sound quality because the Digital audio codec from the CD changer is converted from Digital to Analog and then back to digital on your head unit. Let us all know how you fair and tell us what you found out.
Thank You,
Erfan Afshar
