I'm new here to the forums but this seemed like a good place to get an answer to my problem. So I just got my car back from the shop where I had some tune up work done where they had to disconnect my battery terminal. Now the problem is that when I turn on the car the radio security light is solid red instead of its occasional flashing, and it reads "SEC" the entire time. I got out the manual and tried to go to do the steps for programming it to disable the security by holding the 1 and 6 buttons while pressing the power button, but it sort of stays frozen and reads "SEC" no matter what step I follow. Basically, it won't let me get to the part where I have to use my access code I set while enabling the Anti Theft. I called the shop and they said to either call Lexus but maybe I would have to take it to the dealership to have them reset the code, but I really don't want to take it to the dealership if it is going to cost me anything. If you guys have any ideas such as maybe pulling a fuse to reset the system, etc, please let me know.
