Wink

Nice looking ride! I had a white 2001 on my short list, but ended up going with the Cashmere Beige instead. Put some nice tint on her & it will really look sharp!

Ideas for 17s and 18s: IS wheels (5-spoke and 11-spoke SportDesign), SC430 wheels (without the pie plates), '06 GS430 wheels. There's also the aftermarket route, but too many to choose from. You're on your own

Car looks sharp. Where in CT are you from? I used to live in Danbury for 4 years.

Hey man, you should definitely go with some SC wheels. Oh, and what are you doing with your old wheels?

SC wheels

Too many with is wheels

not that they look bad, just that since you have a 01, it's a bit more classy.

but definitley go 18's not 17's

Unfortunately, it's not mine, it's another member's here on CL. I think it looks lowered just because of the 18's.

Maybe the owner will see this thread, or I'm sure Lexusk8 or GATO knows who it is

Hey that's my car!

I'm humbled/greatful that you decided to use it as an example!

I would recommend the SC wheels as well because they complement the body so much. In the daytime shot, my car wasn't lowered. I had my original Coach Ed. wheels in the trunk and back seat hehe. I'm waiting on my coilovers before I lower it.

For a while I was going back and fourth about whether I should keep this car or go with GS400 but for now I'm upgrading the suspension and other handling mods before make my final decision (unless I get the deal I cannot refuse hehe). If you do upgrade to 18's like the SC430 you'll notice your handling improve just with the wheel upgrade alone. The car is so much flatter in turns. I'm imagining what it'll be like with Coilovers, plus new Sways and the strut tower brace! I've heard nothing but good things about doing those upgrades as well

TiGuy.....is your car lowered at all or not? If so, what spring/strut setup are you running?

TIA.

Not yet still running stocks. When I update to coilovers it'll be lowered. One more thing, if you do go with the SC wheels, make sure you grab 5/16" spacers for the rear wheels or you'll have a bad case of rubbing
