that color is perfect. not alot of them out there that color.

are those 01 tails? if not, it would set it off right with 01 tails.

what are the offsets on the wheels? are the by 8.5 all around?

hey D2, also, some clear corner lights and some Autocouture eyelidz would look tight
( and it would only set you back about 150 bucks )

hehe....lots of questions......you mentioned it being in the show circuit, are there future plans for more mods, i.e. lip kit, ice, performance mods, etc....?)
Hey Gato, good to see the resident Windom king approves LOL

- The color is certainly a looker, really gives the car a more upscale appearance.

- 01 head and tailights coming soon (trying to force the bum-pers / rockers on him too!)

- yup 8.5 all around, and you know the offsets are closely guarded info (gotta save something for our customers!! lol)

- eyelids and clears are certainly in the works, but thanks for confirming our plans.

- future plans: 01+ aero, exhaust (picked up today), ICE is already installed (monitors / DVD).

I made yself a promise................................................................................................................if the car doesn't sell by the end of march, i will go further with modz. ( HIN Dallas AUG 06 )

that's why I wanted to know about it being in shows.......gotta look forward to a little competition

new wheels will be on the way, if it doesn't sell, thats why I was curious how aggressive you guys went on the offset. I guess i'll just be pm ing you when and if that time comes.

great to hear all those goodies are coming for your project Es I can't wait to see it done up right

If you keep it, let me know and we'll get something done custom for you, I have a few ideas. Also we can do the AUTO-COUTURE kit for you.

looking good the clear corners will make it look a lot better and it's a real cheap mod. Please post more side shots of the drop, might be interested in getting those springs.

Of course you do. You wanna elaborate on what could make it look better?

Stef & D,
Tell me that's not the same ES one of your boys was whippin back in last April at the FBF? If it is "dayum", don't even look like the same car. I might be wantin to do sumthin like that suspension you got on that.

LOL C'mon bro, D2 always shows you love on your threads, play nice mang!! LOL

The point of this vehicle is a everyday car with parts that can be attained on almost any budget. We have already demonstrated our ability to mount 8,000 dollar 22" wheels on a Bentley so the object of this excercise was to stick to a moderate budget and still maintain our standards for fitment, quality and aesthetic balance (no 20" spinners over here).

Of course we could put some 4500 dollar wheels on and so on and so on, but how many 1997-2001 ES owners do that? So we wanted to ensure we had the right sermon for the right church!

lol d2-squared

anyways its an ok looking car. the fitment is good.(better than most that ive seen). Good job getting 8.5's to fit. it would have been nice to have put a body kit on it, especially sitting next to a kitted bmw.

but its a great place to start.
