Default Plastic or Glass?

The round foglight lenses on a '93 ES300 - I can't tell if they are made of plastic or glass. I've tapped them with my finger to try to tell but I'm not sure .........anyone?

I think the round ones are glass? And the rectangle one is plastic.

All the lenses are glass minus the shell of the headlights - which is plastic. Along with the headlight shipping covers - which is extremely thick plastic.

Same as the headlights. Take them off, put them in the top rack in a dishwasher. They'll come out spotless if you pick them up & wipe them off with a paper towell. ONLY touch them with a paper towell once they're cleaned.

Why? Are you going to break it?

Thanks for the definitive response, Pheonix.
The reason for my question is that I noticed the round yellow covers are somewhat cloudy looking so I wanted to know if they are plastic or glass. If they were plastic, I would try polishing them with Meguiar's PlastX, but it is not supposed to be used on glass.

Thanks again,
Lexucan

Cool

They all get very dirty over time with build-up & heat baking stuff on both sides of the lens.
The fog-lights also pit because of the constant bombardment of rocks. That would be very hard to do anything about.

The light output of cleaning any of the lenses doesn't improve noticeably, but they look a ton better when they're freshly cleaned!
