Braking Power

hey stop bashing the maxima......thats one of my favorite cars....i've got a 2000 maxima.....man do i miss the power on that car......its just gives u the adrenaline rush......and it corners well too for a big car..........trust me i did 70 on a 15mph curve........very stupid but my maxima just ate that **** up. it was on stock suspension with a rear sway bar.
The lexus feels very bland compare to the max.......even tho its a stick....i cant feel the power rush at me........its always too damn smooth.........and i dont feel confident cornering in my lexus like i did with the maxima.........mayb cuz i have a 12 year old suspension or becuase toyota suspensions are just too damn soft......
I dunno i love my lex but the maxima was much more fun.

the shifts on a lexus are suppose to be smooth, because Lexus's standards are set for a luxurious feel. Same thing with suspension, it is suppose to be soft and enjoyable for the passengers.
The problem I had with my Lexus's brakes is that the rear brake hoses on booth side went on me and I was putting a thing of brake fluid in it in 4 days.- That sucked. BEcause of that it gave me the bad impression on it's braking system.
1: When I was trying to brake the Abs would turn on and off unsuspectingly, and I almost rear-ended other cars.
2. Lexus charged me $70 per hose (this was when I first bought the car and was unsure how well camry parts match up.) I should've went to metal brake lines because they hold better.
3. Lexus's brakes too me after that never felt as firm as they should be.
Now that I think about it though, since I fixed my leaking brake lines, the car does stop pretty good, but I think it could be a little better and more firmer.
