Default Last pics of my ES that you'll ever see w/ the JIC's

I'm probably going to sell off my JIC's and go with my original intrax/tokico set up, for now.

I know this isn't a great excuse but this is why:
I went to Zeal motorsports (US distributor of JIC) a few days ago and asked if they can give me a good deal on coilovers for my g/f's IS300 and they treated us like we were trash, even though a few years ago they sponsored my car. So, to make a long story story short, I got into a big argument with the salesman and I told him that since my sponsorship is over, I'm pulling out the JIC's and selling it. I wish you guys were there to see the expression on his face when i told him that I'm going to buy a tein suspension
If anything my g/f got more pissed then i did, she won't take that kind of crap.

So this week she's going to make some calls and look into two sets of Tein coilovers (both our car's).

The JIC's are 4 sale BTW, I'm giving you guys the first shot at them before it goes on fleabay.

That is a beautiful Es you got there

I never cared much for JICs customer service........matter of fact, that's why I chose the Ksports oner the JICs.

good luck

Gato & Akabond,

Yeah those guys were pretty cool a few years ago when they were a small company in the US, but now that they found some success, they are willing to blow off a sale. They obviously lost me, my friends and family members as prospective customers.

your car looks great for a 97! i have a 97 too but it doesn't look that nice. how much was your front bumper and where did you get it? and your hid's and tail lights? must have cost a lot to upgrade them. sorry to hear about your bad experience. my brother has tein coilovers on his GS and they're awesome.

roughly 3 years ago your car inspired me to fix mine up.. i seriously loved the whole setup of the car - suspension, rare volk wheels ;-), 2001 updates, etc.. great job dude.. probably one of the cleanest es300s ive ever seen to date

Nice, how low was your car already on whatever setup you had? Also what size wheels? how much for them?

The drop was roughly the same but the ride quality and handling (intrax/tokico) was horrible compared to the JIC's.

the wheels are 18".

And I'm not sure if you are asking about the wheels or the suspension...
This is how much I paid:
wheels $3200
suspension $1150 (sponsored). I'm selling it for $600 + ship obo BTW.

Hey thanks for the kind words!
I can't really remember the exact price I paid for everything but from what I can remember:
front bumper=~200
fog lamps=~400
Front lamps=~500
OEM HID's=350 (ebay)
tail lamps=~600
Hope the info helps.
