With the contrast blown out of proportion it looks fine on camera, but it doesn't work quite so well in real life. Those LED's are spotting, and I can see it through the over contrast because I have seen it so many times.

This will work if you just want white light, but don't tell everyone to go do this and that it will work, because you are going to have 100 ticked off people that spent all their money and time only to find out that their cluster has huge bright spots on it.

Otherwise, it's a good fix if you just want "white" and do not care about the intense white spots and dim area's everywhere else.

Sorry, but anyone who does that is wasting their time. there is NO PLUG AND PLAY LED that will disperse light properly. That product will not work and even looking at the design it is obvious because it sits directly on the face.

3rdelement, your head unit looks almost the same as mine, I have the Alpine 9827. I'm trying to get most of my lights to match that of the buttons.

yeah good luck with that. i was gonna get blue needles but thats not possible for early es's
but i like the look. might just get my climate control matching the alpine. who knows for now my es looks like nothing else in my area...which im proud of.

Oh watch out for putting to many blue in your interrior. it has been shown to fatigue your eyes more. thats why i hate people that have fake hid or high kelvin temp'd hid's
