I was reading my window sticker for my 1998 ES300, and it says the car has an "illuminated entry system." Does this mean the lights are supposed to come on inside when the unlock button is pressed (as with most other cars)? If so, mine's messed up b/c it's always dark until the door is actually opened. Any ideas?

Sounds like a fancy name for a dome light

this made me walk out and test my 93 Es, when I pull the handle with the door lock my dome light and keyport light turns on, I think that is it. That is the only way it turns on with out opening the door.
