A Lexus Story : Part 3
…so after the storm I plucked off the new plates as a reminder of my beloved ride and left it in the parking lot to be shipped away. Salty seawater and cars just don’t mix well. So after leaving the Caribbean for Canada and after a five month exhaustive search I found my new car a couple provinces away, flew over and drove it home twenty hours straight. We all know how miles can be swallowed up in these automobiles.
I picked it up at the dealer…
…absolutely mint, stock wheels…
…but I knew I didn’t want them on for long, and I “stole” these oem chrome wheels from a local shop for less than the cost of just a single new wheel from the dealer! Hey, that’s what you get for shopping around.
…with the new chrome wheels
…the mats and interior is spotless, looks like nobody ever sat in the thing
…and my favorite pic of the car, so far
…and so that’s a little history from a proud Lexus owner, and I think I can speak for all new Club Lexus members…we’ve found heaven here. Thanks for all the invaluable info and feedback!!
Cheers,
Vas

Great story. I was sooo sad when your first Lexus was destroyed and then you got another one and it looks amazing. Congratulations and take good care of her. You'll enjoy many miles with her. I have an 1996 ES 300 with over 251K miles on it and it runs great.

noticed it is the same car, it is kinda like the old one grew up. Very nice. Just hope now you don't get a snow storm. But that was awesome how the Windom was right-hand drive.
