Need help, car stalling
Ok so my bf and I just bought a 94 Lexus ES300 about 2 months ago....same owner, car was in great shape, had a rebuilt tranny put in and well maintained the guy even had all the paperwork for the work that had been done on the car.
Well last Wednesday when my man was driving to work, it just stalled out and kept doing that every few blocks. I took it to my mechanic, who has been working on cars forever, he also had 7 other mechanics look at the car and they're all puzzeled.
The car starts up just fine, then after a little bit it just stalls, the computer is throwing off wrong codes and once it said the TPS was bad, so he replaced that but it wasn't really the problem. Before I have to take it to a Toyota dealership and pay out the freakin ying yang for repairs, has anyone else had a problem like this with their Lexus before??
