Hey im new here...bought an black/black ES with HID's and 122k bout 3 weeks ago. I have a few questions:

1. Some times when im sitting at a light and press the brake, the batterylight turns on and the radio messes up, the lights on the interior dim and the fan stops blowing..wat can be the issue?

2. The sterring is very wierd, now i now its not going to be like my prelude, but sometimes the steering wheel stays a lil to the left but drives striaght. In turns sometimes theres a small section were i can turn the wheel and the car goes straight, when it does start to turn, its very faint.

3. the transmission shifts funny..guess im gonna get it flushed..where and how much should i expect to pay?

Thanks alot in advance...still getting used to a four door lol

Possibly yout alternator is starting to die. Or, it may be as simple as a dying battery, or loose perminals.

When my moms 92 ES300 started doing that she ended up having to get an entire new steering rack.

On my 94 ES, I noticed my lower control arm bushing is starting to crack and go bad. You could also check the condition of your control arm bushings and see if they need replacement.

buy a voltmeter if you aren' sure about the battery or the alternator, but it sounds like a weak batt. I got my transmisson flushed at Toyota for $150,. tax included. MY steering wheel is turned about 7* to the left off center, I haven't gone for an alignment yet but you can tell my car needs it because during braking the wheel will vibrate, your car might not be aligned.

I'll try, just don't feel like lifting the car anytime soon, also if I mess with something I would like to upgrade while I am at it.
