Welcome to Club Lexus. If you go to the "Lighting" forum and perform a search, you will find some really good information and other people's opinions on lighting including "how to". Then you can decide what's best for you

PIAAs... not Silverstars.
I like the clean look and intensity of Sylvania's high-end bulbs, but after going through several sets of them I couldn't, in all honesty, recommend paying full price for them. If you can get them at 50% off retail then they're a great choice. I loved the way they looked, but they all only lasted me a few months. Rather than spend $30-$40 every 4 months, I'd rather spend $80 every 1.5-2 years. Just my recommendation.

FUll out HID's, or do an HIR swap from that guy selling them for $70 a pair.
HIR's stomp the pee out of silverstar/piaa's.
I did a post within the last two months that had a guy's charts on light output. The $7 sylvania bulb trounced everything but HIR's, which dominated everything by a wide margin.
I say $7 sylvania 9005 conversion, or spend $70 to get HIR's in there, or spend your $350 for a good HID kit + any modification it takes to get them to an OEM standard.

ChirsES, here is a thread on LOC that I posted some pics of PIAA Ion Crystals and Xtreme White fog bulbs. It may help you if you opt for just a simple bulb replacement.
