Default Radio Install & Supercharger Question

Hey fellas, i just bought a 2003 Es300 and i am transfering my DVD player and my system into the 03 from my 95. How hard or what is needed for the install? I spoke with HIFI BUYS and they said that they would have to custom build a dash kit b/c there is not one they manufacture to fit a single din hole. I also know in newer vehicles the door chime, and other misc controls are routed through the headunit there for the radio cannot be removed but has to be relocated to the trunk. Is this nessessary? Also, i know some new vehicles use fiber optic wiring for the speakers and it is very expensive if you accidentally cut it thinkin its reg. speaker wire. is this so for this es?

Okay, all you forced induction pros out there! I want to supercharge my Es300. ive seen some misc trd kits for my year and transmission but somewhere i read something that states the supercharger does not work properly with VVT-i is this so? Also ive seen some misc sites that have the trd supercharger from anywhere from 3100 to 5000 (they may be credible or not) does anyone know a trustworthy site where i can purchase this from?

Is there anyone else out there on CL that has done this already b/c i would def. like to shoot you a PM

any input on both subjects would be awesome fellas and gal

thanks,
Brennan

Cool

There is no supercharger for that engine.
It requiresmodification to fit the old crappy TRD M45 supercharger to that head design. It's been done to a Camry, or at most two.
Used-NIB, 1500-2500usd. Not including all of the the fuel modifications to run a stock one so that it doesn't lean out and blow a ringland off the piston, without making *that* much power to begin with.

Either drop $450 on a wet n2o kit & run a 75 shot, or do a custom Turbo / super setup. To which the Turbo will generally be superior in any measureable way.

supercharging is not worth it. The only reason im doing it on my solara is because I got the charger for $325 and can afford the $500 in fuel mods you need to run safely and reliably. Turbos arnt that hard to set up, only hard to tune, go that route and be original.

i know i wanna do some sort of forced induction system on this car. Pheonix how hard would it be to graph a custom turbo kit? When it comes to turbos this is my downfall. What all is necessary for a complete turbo kit? turbo, downpipes, wastegate, turbo timer, intercooler, what else? What size turbo would i use and who could i get to custom build/bend the piping(atlanta area). Roughly how much $$$ are we estimating from start to finish i know its gonna be costly but gimme a ballpark? What is the max psi that the 03 es could withstand safely?

anyone with experience chime in, anyone in the atlanta area interested in helping me with this dont be shy

Turbo, intercooler, intercooler piping and couplers, fuel pump, injectors, colder spark plugs, retarded timing, some sort of engine management for tuning (i.e. piggyback s-afc or EMS), bov, downpipe, downpipe flanges, y pipe or turbo manifolds and flanges, air filter, boost gauge, tapped oil pan, oil lines, relocation and possible removal/cutting of parts.

There are a lot of parts involved and sometimes a lot of modification to fit piping if you want to save $
