Default HVAC fan stopped working - possible causes?

The HVAC fan in my 1997 Lexus ES300 stopped working today I checked the fuses and everything is fine so I can only assume that the fan motor has died. Are there other parts I should check before ordering a new fan? Is this a common ES300 problem?

How many labor hours to change the fan? Where can I get a good deal on an OEM motor?

Thanks

Default

maybe u should try giving it external 12v from the battery and see if it works
there are a bunch of relays that kick in the fan when the ac is turned on or the temp sensor is hot
check relays
