I bought a '97 with 80,000 miles on it 4 months ago for $8,000 in mint condition. I'd say sell, sell, sell

Well, if his loan goes through, then i will sell it.

But if his loan doesn't go through, then i will keep it as long as possible.

I think it's kind of a rip. I got my 00 with 55k miles for 13. If you can get it go for it! Power to you if you do get it

Default Looking for a '97+

I'm looking for a 1997+ for $7k or below. Would like something with tan leather, no rips tears etc, well maintained....looking for around 100k miles at most. Anyone selling?

well, it looks as though his loan is being funded.

So... you people really think i should sell this wonderful, beautiful gem of a car? This car is in perfect condition...

what else am i gonna get for $10k that is in near mint condition?

Well, i sold it for $10k, and now i wish i hadn't. I should not have sold my best car. she was in perfect condition other than the fact that she could have used new struts. she still looked brand new, inside and out. no mechanical issues whatsoever. i feel like i'm gonna throw up. i've already been looking for others, and i can't find anything in such good shape inside and out as my 97 oyster pearl beauty. what am i gonna do?

GS' are ugly ('cept for the brand new ones), LS' are kinda tank-like in a mbenz s class like way. ES' are the perfect all round car. and i just got rid of a perfect one. stupid me.

GS's are ugly? what are you talking about? The 2nd gens are beautiful. And the LS's are nice but bad for mileage. I'd trade my ES for a GS or LS any day.

Don't feel bad. It was a great car and you received compensation for it. Now you can go buy another Lexus. I agree the ES is a perfect all around car but so are the other Lexus models in different ways. I still have my 1996 ES 300 which now has over 254K miles and runs great. I always have in the back of my mind to sell it and get the new 2007 ES 350...

Hey, of YOUR three lexi (98cs, 96gs, &96es): if you could only keep one of them, and you were going to have it for the rest of your LIFE, which one would you choose?
