Hi, new owner of an 04 ES330 w/nav, ML sound... I previously had a Sirius Sportster Plug'nplay installed in my BMW through an aux interface and it sounded great. I understand the only option in the lexus is FM Modulation which I don't want. I'm also told there is a satellite "kit" available from the dealer, either XM or Sirius for $700 installed that works right through the Nav system. That seems steep.. as I've seen the kit advertised on the net for $100. Also, it appears there is an antenane to the right of the rear view mirror (inside the car). Can this be used for either Sriuis or XM?

in the 04 you can get the kit from a dealer online. it is a factory OEM kit that the LS also uses too. its not $700 its only i believe $300? the antenae that is used for the sat radio is not on the mirror it gets mounted on the trunk, and its a yucky black placed in a weird location. i had thought about getting sat radio but for 300 bucks plus service i rather just listen to cds
