Default 93' Big 3 question

Im waiting for the parts to come in for the big 3. As of now, I have found possible points for connection. Anybody here perhaps got pics of their work or point out the best spots? Also they say fusing the alternator wire is optional, and I dont feel like doing it either. So whats the scoops?

Battery (-) to chassis

too bad I tightened the bolt too much and it snapped, so I picked a new spot.

then the alternator

and then the engine to chassis

easy job, straightforward & good results, read 14.6v when I turned it on (as opposed to the ~13.8), dipped into the 12's when the JBL 1200.1 was on. I bought 7 feet of Knukoncepts Kolossus Kable 1/0 gauge and had like 2 1/2 feet left over.

Heres a sub that I picked up last night

The JBL cant push it, moved only 1 inch peak to peak at near max power, and the thing has 4 inch throw. Anyone wanna recommend a box?

Google "big 3". It provides a more stable grounding circuit. Do that setup and maybe get a better alt.
