Default Maintenance Question

Hello there people, I have some questions about my ES, and I figured out this is the best place to ask.

The car in question is a 97 ES300, right now it has 89k. I have had this one for about 3 years. No history on the car was available from the previous owner, so I dont know what was done and what wasn't. The car is clean though. There are no complaints, the car drives excellent, its also got the AVS. I put about 20k in the time that I owned this one. Took it to the Lexus dealer when I first got it, changed/maintained some stuff, then a while later the oil was changed.

I think thats about it history wise. Now come the questions.

Now, I was contemplating selling it, but in case the right price does not come, I intend to keep it for longer, the car is great. But for me to keep it, and keep it running great like it has, what needs to be taken care of? With the little history information provided and the mileage it has now, what needs to be done, or what would you guys recommend be done, and how much would this cost approximately?

Thanks again people, I appreciate it.

This is the best time to do a 90K service where they change the timing belt spark plugs,
when they are doing this u can add the cam seals valve cover gaskets and water pump
they will also change all the fluids and transmission flush.
your car will be ready for another 90K miles

Thanks man. Lexus people will probably charge alot more than an ind. shop. How much would this 90k service cost approximately. I guess there is no difference between taking it to Lexus and to an ind. shop right?

So I just tell them its the 90k service or would I need to specify exactly what needs to be done? Like tell them timing belts, spark plugs, cam seals, valve cover gaskets, water pump, air filter, all five fluids, and trans flush. Does this include a fuel filter, or does it even need that?

Thanks again

If you have a local toyota dealer, take it there and they will do the job for 1/2 the price that lexus will charge you.

That price was quoted by ind. shops. Never thought of asking Lexus for a quote. But now I might ask Toyota for one, thanks.
