Exclamation Loaner Car Mileage question ???

Hi..

I have question about loaner cars. I have scheduled for an appoinment to bring in my lexus for the first service. I have also requested for a loaner vehicle but I just got a news that I will have to visit a client at a different location which would easily put 100 miles on the car. Is there any mileage restrictions on loaner vehicle? I seriosuly don't want to be driving them anywhere far than usual but just my concern if any suprises come up knowing my work nature.

Please advice

Thank You

There is no limit for miles driven in a Lexus loaner, but there are fuel usage requirements. From what I remember, before you return the loaner you have to fill up the gas tank to approximately the same level as it was when you received the loaner (e.g. if the level was at the 3/4 mark, fill the gas ONLY to the 3/4 mark). Otherwise, the dealer will incur some extra fuel charge on your bill.

This posts made my day!! but I will confirm it with the dealer just to be on the safe side.. due to my work nature this has been really bothering me but it's all good now.. fillin up the gas for them.. phew.. not a prob cause my comp will subsidize it.. I am hoping to get a RX so I can see how that drives ...

Thanks Lexusk8...

Haha!! You're probably rite... well I do a lot of in-state trips and since I am in Maryland.. I do a lot of trips to Virginia and DC and I am hoping that should not be a problem

I know the "land of pleasant living"....

The funny thing is I was referring to the smugglers that use loaners to transport contraband in and out of Mexico... a problem for the high end auto dealers in Arizona.

I remember running errands between MD and VA once. Ok, not in a Lexus loaner. The Bimmer was in for service, and 99% of the time they point you over to Enterprise for loaner/rental car purposes. So it was like 90 miles on a Ford Fusion, with a 150mi per day limit.
