lol i ran 35psi on my is300 rims and had two blowouts within two weeks thanks to nyc potholes. Low pro tires are way too expensive to be replacing at this rate, so i just bought some ugly *** sc300 15" rims with 65 series tires and threw them on. Now the car looks like a fkin buick but rides like a dream.....
here's a pic that show the difference:

32psi for highspeed driving AND / OR heavily loaded - front and rear
26 psi for light load AND speeds under 100 mph - front and rear
for the stock wheel and tire size
[i personally use 32 on the car, because i drive very sporty and high speeds]
note: cold tire pressure

tire pressure is a matter of safety, not ride comfort. maintain your cold tire pressure at manufacturer specs. you would be able to call lexus or toyota to get the manufacturer spec on this. use half-load if it's usually just you in the car, full load if you have 5 adults in the car. after driving the car for even a few minutes or on a hot day, you should inflate to a few psi above the cold pressure recommendation as the pressure reading will be affected by the heat.

Great points made above on COLD vs. HOT tire pressure. A 5 psi increase is about right between the two.
Gas mileage is better at higher pressures, just depends if you like to float or not. Lower pressure feels better but at 4 bucks a gallon, less pressure will cost you a tad more.
