Hello,

I'm considering buying a 2001 es300 coach edition.
I have a question about how far the drivers seat goes back.
When I drove the car the drivers seat did not go back as far as when I sat in a 2000
ES300 coach edition model. Shouldn't the distance the seat goes back be the same?

Yes the seats should go back the same distance on both the 2000 and 2001 models. No idea on why this is not the case in your situation.

Put the passenger seat all the way back, and then try putting your drivers seat all the way back.

If they seem to be back the same amount then that's probably the maximum distance that was originally designed for your car.

If the driver seat does not go as far back, then get down under the seat to check if something is restricting this movement.
