This is what I got when I insert a movie DVD into the Map DVD slot in my 05 ES 330.

Does anyone know how to make it play movie DVD?

The slot for the Navigation DVD is only for the Navigation system! To play a movie DVD you put that DVD in the CD slot. Remember also, that to play the video portion of the DVD the emergency brake has to be set and the transmission in park position, otherwise you'll just hear the audio portion.

Edit: The above information is for an '07 ES350. I don't know if it's possible to play a movie on your '05 ES330 system.

You really need to read the manuals for your system. Both of your posts on this board indicate that you haven't. You'll save yourself a lot of grief and heartache and get a lot more enjoyment out of the nav system if you do.

The Lexus Nav is one of the best on the market. I hope you take advantage of the capabilities of the system by taking a few minutes to learn about them first.

There is nothing about that in my manuals.

I also email Lexus about that, the answer is it's not design to play movie.

Do you know how?
