92-96 radio diagrams & wiring - one more time!
This is for the 92-94. The 95-96 will be slightly different. None-the-less, the same so that these diagrams are valid.

Intigrated Cell Phone Wiring:
General tips:
The stock speakers are paper. They are relatively sensative, but distort, and blow easy (Along with IMO not sounding more than passable to begin with). Any descent spec aftermarket head unit will drive cleaner, and harder than the stock amp - which is weak.
Either re-wire the entire system, or remove the stock amp, and splice the speaker harnesses together to work.
AFA wiring a real amp...
You could drill a hole in the firewall, then insert a grommet & sealer to pass your power wire through.
Or you can use one of the stock grommets in the driver's side fender, near the back of the firewall (By the brake booster).
Jack the car up (Take the wheel off to make access easier), and unscrew the plastic fender gaurd enought o pull it back.
Pass the cable down the wheel well, and into another grommet that enters the cabin in the driver's foot panel. (This gromet is fairly tightly packed stock. Depending on your power wire, you will need to slit it open slightly with a knife to pass the cable.)
The power wire goes under the carpet (The trim strips pop up on the door sils with an upwards pull. Held down by two snaps.) (The carpet is held on by a metal bracket.)
The wire routes to the rear bench seat, where it comes up undre the carpet, and into the trunk.
(The back bench is held on only by two U clips. Put at hand on each side 1/3 of the way down the front of the bench. Give an upwards jerk - the foam seat is removed.)

Sweet diagrams, I just used a test light and a battery for mine. I ran my 0 gauge under the car and had it strapped to the fuel lines and it came up into the trunk next to the drain hose. Kinda scary with 300 amps running next to fuel lines.

wire
i wired up my wifes 96 es300, with 2 guage, but guess i am going back to re-do to 1/0 guage, damn should have done it from the beggining. its not that hard, but with a back injury, gives me second thoughts. its to run a larger old school amp.

ok that was a little confusing,I just hooked up an Alpine cda9855 and everything is fine except that everytime I turn off the car It doesn't keep my presets I basically have to start from scratch everytime I start the car. I know it is the yellow wire from the deck but I don't know where it connects to.

I went ahead and made a picture of how the above schematic relates to the radio harness connector.

Okay, I originally had no sound until reading the above schematic. Here's what I did wrong. I only had the Blue antenna wire hooked up electric antenna, but I need to connect the Blue Stripped AMP power wire to the same Blue OUT of my radio.
Therefore, if you use an aftermarket harness and have an ELECTRIC antenna, make sure you connect BOTH blue wires on the AMP side to the blue wire on the radio side. In other words, make a Y connection, both #1 & #8 to the BLUE OUT of your radio. This will supply power to both the AMP and the ANTENNA.
