Default DIY: tightened the throttle cable...no more hesitation now!

it was the same on my 98 gs4, you step on the gas, and it takes a second for the engine to respond. So i decided to look under the hood, and sure enough the throttle cable had a lot of play in it. So i tightened it all up and no more hesitation!

Leave in a little play.. .020" This assures correct throttle closure.

Cool

Don't worry about it. If it's idling correctly, the idle valve has it.
Same thing happens with the accelleration (throttle valve / kick down) cable to those that have one i.e. you.

I'll do the same for my 1996 ES 300. Thanks for the tips on the throttle cable...
