what does :Computer Controlled Continuously Variable Lockup, mean?

I've never seen that in particular used.
You've got lock-up differentials, CVT's, lock-up torque convertors.

What you hear about in refference to most from toyota is valve timing.

well in fueleconomy.org if you put in 2003 ES300 it says transmission type CLKUP, so i was wondering

It's not continuously varriable. Modern torque convertors <cough> 70's for imports <cough>
have a clutch on the input shaft. During light loads i.e. cruising in high gear.
The torque convertor locks itself to raise it's effeciancy.
