Arrow I am Confused!!!

Hi all,

On a bright saturday morning, I decided to go an test drive the new ES350 and the GS.. Keeping in mind I just took my ES330 last December (Dec to Remember Sale).. I test drove the UL edition and also the GS 300 ...

I totally fell in love the way the new ES350 drives, with over 270 hp that car runs so fine and the exceleration was very good. I took down the highway and was hitting on the gas and boy that is something. Plus with all the new goodies like Bluetooth, MP3, Navi, one touch start, rear view cam...man I was totally pleased.

Then I took the GS300 and the dealer reminded me that this car was 10K more.. I took it for a spin and turned back in less than 3 minutes.. it was so under powered and they had this huge curvy thingy by the driver side which makes my leg so uncomfortable.. not sure maybe they have the allwheel drive module right below it or what.. but anyways the car was good but not the power... came back and told the dealer straight off that extra 10K was not the worth paying for this car.

Now I am so confused, cause this is what the dealer told me.. he was not pushy at all.. he said my car was still Brand New and trading in now will hurt a little plus they are not really negotiating a lot for the new ES350 since the demand is high. The MRSP on 350 was 42K.. we did not even get to the exact numbers cause I was still confused about trading in a 06 330 and losing a couple of grand...

What do you guys think?? do you think they will be able to give a good trade?? and a good MRSP value over the new Trade?? anyone has done this before?? damm the old dealer did not disclose to me that Lexus will be changing the Model soon when I got my ES330 last December, but I don't blame him.. typical salespeople... he gave a good deal on it.. so no complaints

Let me know what you guys will do in my situation... I am totally in love the new ES350...

I know what I would do!

Bite the bullet and take your loses now, 'cause you'll never be completely happy with your ES330 from now on.

In my case I traded in my mint, loaded '03 ES with only 16K miles because of the crappy transmission. I suffered for 3 years!

After test driving the ES350 I knew that this was the direction I had to take.......and boy, it was the wisest decision I've made in a long time. I've been a Lexus owner for 16 years, and this new car is giving me complete joy in ALL respects.....I love it!

Remember the old adage, "He who hesitates is lost".

Sorry to tell you.......the software updates were a sad fix for this hesitation problem! All it was, was a crutch.
