I did a search in the DIY thread stickied at the top of this forum, and here's a great link I found (shown below) which contains pictures and the step-by-step process for removing the stereo and A/C console in a '92-'96 ES. Next time, please do a quick search in the DIY thread just in case the info you're looking for might be there. In any case, enjoy

It is different.
Four screws hold the entire climate / radio in.
2 behind the A/C vents, and 2 under a trim piece at the bottom of the radio. The trim pulls off to reveal them - the vents are a complete pain to pull out without damaging them. I suggest being careful, or taking the time to pull the glovebox out so you can wedge the vents out from that side.

I started that way... And *almost* ripped the face off of it. I seriously damaged the side of it, but you can't see it when its installed. And that's common b/c they fit so tightly.
Which is why I recommend the 5 min longer route of going in through the glove box. Doesn't make it the right way, but it's the way that'll ensure the least chance of killing a $20 part.
Which is also another option. Kill the dumb thing & buy a cheap used one from a salvage yard, or ebay.
