Does anyone have DIY instructions on how to clean the IAC valve, with pictures hopefully step by step, but if its just an impossible job for me ill take it to a mechanic . Was just wondering if itd be possible to clean in myself?

Is as close as anyone's done on the 3vz-fe I think. There's nothing to it. It unbolts from the rear of the upper intake air chamber.

Personally, I would just take the entire upper intake manifold off & clean everything at one time. You'll gain alittle power back, and you'll have easy access to the EGR valve & throttle body for cleaning.
Along with spark plugs, wires, and the distributor cap, ar o2 sensor. Check the rear valve cover for leaking. etc
