New Brakes!
#5
The front wheel anti-squeak sensors will need to be "transfered" to the new inner pads from the old pads. (The rears were riveted and preinstalled)
A little caliper grease between the shims and the front pad backs will help with brake application squeaking. Look for rust indications on caliper from the old pads and apply a thin coat of grease there, also..
How clear is the brake fluid in the reservoir? Now's the time to replace the brake fluid if older than three years. Bleed brakes with the ignition turned on, so as to run the ABS accumulator pressure pump.
OEM is Dot 3 type brake fluid.
> Insure you do not allow the brake reservoir to run dry... Very Important an assistant stands by with the new fluid bottle, constantly refilling as the bleeding takes place.
A gentle reminder .... Insure the lug nuts are final torqued to 76 Ft Lbs...
