Question Questions on the button backlight

I have posted the same thread in the 'light' section of the forum but want to get more info, so here it is:

96 ES300, want to know whether these two buttons have backlighting? - the ECT/PWR button on the shifter board, and the side mirror adjusting control button. Thanks.

Thank you all.

It seems my ECT/PWR button light bulb was down. So is this bulb replaceable? - or do I need to replace the entire button unit? Could someone show me how to replace it?

I believe there is just one bulb under the ECT/PWR button. You could try tapping the plastic area around the button and see if the bulb will come back on, as sometimes there might be just a loose connection with the socket. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to access the bulb. This requires prying the wood trim around the shifter, and taking the shifter plate off to get to the bulb. It should be a small green bulb which can be purchased at the Lexus dealership for $2-$3.
