I am not sure which year is your but I have replaced the whole driver side halfshaft on a 93 Camry V6 XLE, it is quite a bit of work and it took me almost 4 hours.. if you can get someone to help you that would be great.. I was lucky my friend had compressed air machine which I used to get the bolts off ... I am not a pro mechanic I simply just followed the instruction given on Haynes.. trust me if I can do.. you can do it as well.. just get someone to help you.. it's not a rocket science
I would recommend changing the whole piece rather the boot cause I had the shop replace my boot once and it was barely 3 months before it came apart again.. see how bad the damage is than decide..
Good Luck...

Just replace the entire CV shaft. At any mechanic's shop, the labor is actually MORE to have the boots replaced than just to have the shafts replaced. I had both shafts replaced for slightly under $500, and it was going to be $460 for just the boots.
Have the shafts replaced and get new boots AND new CV joints.

I agree with everyone. Chances are, some grit has gotten inside the boot and will affect the CV joint. A thought, maybe cheaper Camry parts will fit, maybe even aftermarket parts if money is a main issue. Good luck!!
