Bank1 Sensor 1 removal - how?
I have an error code P1130 & P1135 which in the Lexus code book is Bank1 Sensor1 malfunction (o2 sensor).
If I understand - this is the sensor on the exhaust closest to the firewall.
Is there a trick to getting this part out?? I can't seem to get to it easily where I can get any leverage in order to crack it loose. Maybe someone has done this and can share a tip on how to do it? Otherwise it's off to the dealer and extortion.
thanks!!

I would recommend you put the vehicle on jackstands so you have room to work.
and
The tools for the job, for example ....

And a 16 inch 1/2 drive swivel head ratchet....Craftsman # 44816

I would recommend the half inch drive, as these tend to be installed tight.
Accessing from the right side of the down pipe, you have ratchet swing room.
