Exclamation HELP!! A LOT of WATER keeps appearing in the backseat foot rest area of my '93 es300

Hi, I'm a newcomer in search of help for a problem in my car. I recently purchased a '93 es300 with 147,000 miles on the car. After driving the car for a month or two all of a sudden I notice that water keeps building up in the backseat footrest area. At first I thought it was just water that was accidentally spilled, but after I vacummed it clean and cleared all the water. a week later there is water again. I know its not water coming from my sunroof because the ceiling is never dam or wet when its raining or when water is on my car and the driver and passenger foot rest area is completely dry. I know its not radiator fluid because the water is clear and don't have any kind of color too it except a nasty oder probably from sitting there for so long. Please someone help me. my car is started to get mold because of all the moisture from the water. Any kind of help is appreciated. I did bring it to a very reliable mechanic and he told me that i would probably have to take my car apart to figure out what the problem is. I'm wondering if any of you guys know what the problem is or where I should start.

Thank you

Cool

Because the windows are seamless, they're easy to check. Make sure they're contacting all around to a seal.
I think it's water coming from the sunroof. Blow out the front 2 drain holes (There's one in each corner) with 20psi of air, then 40psi of air.

Just trust me on that.

also there is a hole in the sheet metal under the carpet that allows..........i dont know what it allows haha. but since there has been so much wear and tear on a car of that age, it is a possibility that from pressure being put on the floor that it might have fallen out. maybe check under the car and see if you can see the carpet . this hole is about 2.5 inches around. might be the cause. the only other way to check to see if that is the prob is to take out the bottom of your rear seat and pull back the carpet to check. all in all its a pain in the *** : good luck
