New guy needs help upgrading.
I just bought my first lexus es300 (green and gray). So far I am verry happy with her. The thing is I want to jazz it up so it dosent look so mich like a car of a rich housewife. I have about 4000$ to spend on mods but Im not shur wear to start. I know I want to do the following: Buy new head lights, euro side lights, upgrade to 2000 tail lamps, woodgrain kit and new mono tone paint (flint mica). My main prob is the 2000 tail lamps. The dealer quoted me 950$! Thats crazy! Does anybody know where I can get quality fair priced parts Ive listed above? Any help or mod ideas would be appreciated. Thank you...

Is your headlights dirty? There's a meguire's cleaning solution to clean the lights. (I always see it on here but never paid attention to it). For the back lights, you could get some from a salvage/junkyard or ebay. And those euro side lights, I'm assuming you mean side markers, unless you mean clear corners. Side markers you could buy/order from places that have or sell aftermarket stuff. Wood grain kits could be found on ebay. They range in from $150+. If you want a paint job, do not go to maaco. Their paint jobs sucks. If you want to improve the look of your front end, you could swap the front bumper from a 2000 and the fog lights as well.
$4000 is enough to do everything you listed but I don't know about the price of the paint.

Thanks for the info. So far I have bought the wood kit, clear side markers, and just scored a killer deal on all 4 tail lamps $520. I used a place called www.automotix.net. After I singed up they found my parts in a week. I taking her in tomrrow to get the paint job. It will be a good one $1500. The before and after pics will be soon to come...
