For as common as our vehicles are, I attend to the agree that aftermarket performance has been painful, but like many tell me, know one ever expected an RX300 to show up at the drag strip.

no one ever really expects any Lexus to show up at a drag strip except for maybe the ISs and the SCs. when i raced one of my friends the other night (he had an accord) i completely blew him. and all he had to say was, "wow, i didnt kno Lexus were that fast." lol, i love my car, i wish aftermarket distributors would love it too .

Add the GS series to that group. It is extremely rare that I get any kind of Toyota to even show up at my track. With the ES and RX, you have to want to do it and follow up on everything.

People at my track who do not know me look at what I do as kind of strange, but they do not argue when they see me rip some other SUVs and trucks and even some cars.

thats cool, and yea i want to be unique, i havent seen anyone near me with this car hooked up at all. THEY ARE ALL COMPLETELY STOCK !! when they hear me comin down the street with some bass and they hear my intake, they say, "you cant do that to a Lexus, they arent made for that." well i say i can, and i will, iv always dreamed of hooking up my first car, and im glad i get to do it with one that i know no one else will have, not like the thousands of civics and accords out there. mine is gonna be unique and special .

I think Lexus should go hand in hand with high performance, whether or not one wants to floor it. Another thing, my Lexus is at high altitude. That is a major performance killer and for years it drove like a slow clow, so I had all the incentive in the world.

well im pretty much at sea level, and my car doesnt drive like a slow cow, but i still want it to go FASTER !!!

That's because without FI, almost all honda v6's are woefully slow. The VZ/MZ/GR, and VQ (infinity/nissan) v6's kill them. The 6th gen accord is slower than the 3rd gen camrys.In a nutshell... Unless you have an i4, honda = teh suck.

lol, yea but that still doesnt change the fact that no one wants to make parts for my lil old es300 . which sux a lot cuz i wanna do a lot of different mods to it but there is nothing out there to put on, so im gonna get stuck with getting evrything custom made.

I would. I need a new bandsaw, a powder coating gun, and an oven & sell my cheap tig I just bought for a tig & a plasma cutter.
Unfortunately, you go tell a bank exactly what you want a loan for & they look at you funny... I know, happened twice this week already.

no, not for free, i dont expect anyone to be makin anything for free (except myself if i knew how) but im sure it would be a lot less expensive to go thru you than a shop or dealership.
