Default Can I use OEM Toyota Camry brake pads for my 97 ES?

It's time to change the brake pads again, with all the driving I do. Will Camry brake pads fit my 97? I wanted to go with OEM this time because I went cheap last time with the semi metallic and I'm sick of the sound. Does anyone know how much the OEM pads cost?

Yes you can use OEM pads from a Camry on your ES. There are a couple places online though where you can find factory brake pads at decent prices, far better than what you pay retail at your local Lexus dealership. They are listed below:

Go to Kragen, autozone, etc. If you want the ones that don't squeal, don't get those "life time warranty" ones. Get some ceramic brake pads.

Got some OEM Camry pads today. They cost me $50 front and $50 rear. How much should I expect to pay to get them changed or can I do it myself?

It's definitely a doable job for yourself, although may not be as easy as changing an air filter Here's a link for changing brake pads (and rotors) in an ES: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=129706. The process is pretty much similar on all cars these days.
