Hi - just bought a 93 300 and going throught it I was wondering if there is anything I need to do to get the keyless entry working. No battery so I got one and nothing. Is there some I need to do. thanks a lot!

Check your "Remote" switch which is to the left of the steering column on fhe dash. If the remote switch is set to OFF the keyless entry button on your key won't work.

Okay, so I'm a little lazy about prying apart the key fob, as I'm at work and would like to pick up the battery on my way home from work. Anyone know off-hand the size of the battery for the remote key? If not, no biggie...

If you go to the Lexus dealer, it should be free. The guy or girl at the parts depo should put in a new battery at no charge and it only takes like 1-3 minutes. (Considering there's no other customers at the parts depo)

Oh on another note if its like the gen. 3 fob you can also use one 2032 in place of the 2 2016's

^That means someone intelligent replaced the 2 2016's with 1 2032 since it is the same thing

The 1993 ES300 key uses only one 2016 battery. I know coz I just replaced mine a couple of months ago.

i dont even have keyless entry on mine. >.< you all are lucky if you do. my remote entry is there but i dont even have the original key
