Default gas gauge fluctuating when turning

i had my 96' es300 for over 4 years now and i noticed everytime i turn left or turing into a left curve when driving the gas needle would go down and vice versa when i turn right when driving. it just gets annoying sometimes, anyone else has this issue or is it just my car

i'm sure it's just because your gas is moving around in the tank so the sensor thinks it has more or less than it really does. doesn't really seem like a big issue. personally, i don't think i've ever looked at my gas gause when turning.

Yes I have noticed the pattern of the gas gauge every time I turn left or right, and it's exactly as ssmoked described it. If you think about it, it's all based on physics: Car turns right, more gas shifts to the left, fuel gauge rises, and vice versa. I personally like it when I make a lot of right turns during the drive to work every morning, leaving me the feeling that my ES can last further per fill-up

My 98' does it as well. Only about 1-2 tick so it doesn't really bother me since it levels out after the turns.
